Brian does an amazing job raising all the pastured chickens we sell, and the quality of his care shows in how tender and delicious the chicken is. It is literally his dream to raise pasture chickens, and his goal is to leave his job and raise them full time. Just like my husband's dream is to be a cattle rancher, Brian's dream is to be a chicken rancher, or farmer. Brian makes the trip to his organic pasture in Letha twice a day to feed, water, and move the flock, and he does an excellent job raising a tricky bird. Cornish Cross chickens were bred for large poultry houses in controlled climates, so it takes extra care to keep them healthy and thriving out on pasture, and Brian is always looking for new ways to give his chickens the best life on grass. So we thank Brian for all his hard work, so that we might have access to the best chicken in the Boise Valley.
